Kai was born and raised in the DMV area (DC-MD-VA). His genre and style of music changes with each song, as his passion for telling stories and love for composition are entwined within his lyrics and styling. As an up-and-coming artist, Kai is focused on music with positive vibes, unique styles, relatable lyrics and songs that reach your soul. He believes that music brings people together and strives to be a part of that experience.

Always having an interest in music and acting, Kai's love for performing was ignited after soloing in his middle school choir when he was twelve. His main hobbies while growing up were music, acting, comedy, gaming and graphic arts, which Kai has used to create his career as a content maker and artist.

Kai's musical tastes come from a wide range of genres and styles, such as, R&B, pop, melodic trap, alternative, soul, rap, 80's, 90's, etc.  As such, his musical influences are a vast range of artists, including Hall and Oates, Drake, Phil Collins, Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, New Edition, Nickelback, Earth, Wind and Fire, Imagine Dragons, Billy Joel, Bruno Mars, Daughtry, Owl City, Will Smith, Usher, Post Malone and many more.
